With all the yummy holiday treats and cookies being passed around these days, it's easy to miss out on the greens we need to stay balanced. 

To be super clear, I’m not about strict diets or restrictions, but I am about feeling your best!  And your body NEEDS nutrients to feel your best. 

So if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to pack in some extra greens this time of year, you’re going to love this simple smoothie recipe. It's my little secret to balancing indulgence with healthy choices, especially around the holidays

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Gluten-Free –  Grain-Free – Dairy-Free – Sugar-Free – Nightshade-Free  – Egg-Free

Prep time: 5 minutes ■ Total time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients: 

1 serving collagen peptides or plant-based protein powder (can be vanilla or chocolate)

A few handfuls of frozen baby spinach (buy fresh, then stick in the freezer)

2 TBSP 100% cacao 

2 TBSP almond butter

1 TBSP flaxseed

Almond or coconut milk

~4 drops organic liquid stevia  

Instructions: 

Add everything to your blender + ~4-5 ice cubes.  Blend, pour into your glass cup, put in your glass straw, and enjoy! 

This will pack in healthy fiber, protein, and greens while being a creamy and delicious snack! Remember, this isn't just about getting your greens in; it's about embracing balance and listening to what your body needs.
